Candid Shot and Posed Selfie

Whats the Difference?

Candid shots are taken without the model knowing.

Selfies are taken by the model themselves. 

Both of these photos the models are smoking but the difference is that in the top one Yuli doesn't know the picture was being taken where as i did. This makes the first picture candid and the second one posed. In the first photo the colours and brightness and low and dull, in the second one they are high and bright. To make these photos better i would make them both be in conditions with lots of natural light and maybe choose a different location so there is a nice background.
